About
Inspired by Shimmer: Dreaming the Posthuman, this hands-on terrarium workshop explores the connection between plants, people, and the natural world. Create your own miniature landscape using live plants, natural materials, and otherworldly decorative objects inspired by the exhibition’s themes of transformation, interconnectedness, and the unexpected. Flora will guide you through the process of building and caring for your terrarium with all materials provided. About the instructor Kerbi Howat is the founder and owner of Flora, a Nashville-based plant shop and design studio specializing in bringing plants into interior spaces. Since founding Flora in 2016, she has grown the business from a pop-up into one of Nashville’s leading destinations for plants and plant design. Her work is rooted in the belief that plants have the power to transform how we experience a space.
