Big dreams start with a little imagination! Inspired by the musical Matilda, participants will sing, dance, and explore what it takes to bring a musical theatre number to life. TPAC teaching artists will guide students through vocal and dance techniques inspired by songs from the show while encouraging them to make bold character choices and perform with confidence. From dreaming about who you’ll be when you grow up to finding your inner “revolting” spirit, young performers will have a blast building their musical theatre skills, working together as an ensemble, and telling a story through song and movement. Discover the magic of theatre in workshops based on the themes from our favorite shows and stories. TPAC’s teaching artists lead fun, interactive activities that will inspire imagination and provide opportunities to develop skills like responding to cues, choreography, and vocal technique. TPAC uses UltraCamp for student registration. If patrons have not used UltraCamp before, they will need to make an account with UltraCamp to continue the registration process. Caregivers are welcome to attend and observe free of charge. If you have questions for this event please email camp@tpac.org.
