Performing Live: AYRIA DIE SEXUAL With DJs: Melting Girl Plastic Disease Ayria is the electronic, futurepop, and dark synthpop solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter Jennifer Parkin, formed in Toronto in 2003. Known for bridging the gap between old-school industrial beats and catchy, sugar-coated electroclash melodies, Ayria pairs driving bass synths and stompy club rhythms with distinctively feminine, melancholic vocals. Over a career spanning more than two decades, the project has built a global underground following through extensive international touring and a striking, dark cyber-aesthetic. Die Sexual are the erotically charged Los Angeles-based duo of Anton Floriano and his wife Ros.
