About

CASEY’S COUNTDOWN! 3rd & Lindsley • October 29 For an entire generation, Casey Kasem’s unmistakable voice turned Saturday mornings into a shared musical experience. Through American Top 40, Casey didn’t simply count down the biggest songs in America—he told us the stories behind them. He celebrated the artists, revealed the surprising journeys songs took up the charts and made listeners feel connected to the music that became the soundtrack of their lives. Casey’s Countdown was created to pay tribute to that legacy. On October 29, seven veteran musicians come together at 3rd & Lindsley to bring the spirit of those legendary countdowns to life—performing unforgettable hits from across the decades while uncovering the stories, surprises, and fascinating chart history behind the music. And with this show coming just two nights before Halloween, there may be a few musical mysteries waiting to be solved… Which hit spent the most weeks at #2 without ever reaching #1? Which artist placed the most songs in the Billboard Top 40 during a single calendar year? And what surprising stories are hiding behind some of the biggest songs ever recorded? The clues are buried throughout decades of Billboard chart history—and with a little help from Casey Kasem himself, Jacqi, Marty, Ronnie, Sam, Gary, Brady and Vic are on the case. The members of this unlikely musical mystery crew hail from several popular bands that have graced the 3rd & Lindsley stage throughout the past decade. Now, for the first time, they’re combining forces as one headlining act—armed with powerhouse vocals, seasoned musicianship, unforgettable hit songs and enough surprising music trivia to crack some of the greatest chart mysteries of our generation.
