Join a Ranger on a hike up Mt. Wanda this morning. We will have conversations about what represents wealth and value to different people who have lived on this land throughout history. We will explore and learn about the different plants and animals that enrich this area. The hike is 3 miles total on a steep dirt trail. Meet at the Mt. Wanda Trailhead parking lot with sturdy shoes, layers, a snack, and water. If it rains or conditions are muddy, we will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 4202 Alhambra Avenue and walk the home site.
Free on-site parking is available for visitors near the visitor center and historic home area. Accessible parking spaces are also provided.
