Cambodia’s most important bronze artwork arrives in the Bay Area with a special ceremony. Join us in celebrating the opening of Vishnu’s Cosmic Ocean, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Southeast Asia’s largest ancient bronze in San Francisco. The blessed water offers wishes for protection, good fortune, and well-being to the historical artwork as well as all ceremony attendees. The experience will be followed by a Khmer dance performance.
Buses can pick up and drop off students in front of the museum on Larkin Street or on the north side of the building on Fulton Street. The Asian Art Museum does not have a parking facility, but there are several parking facilities within walking distance.
