Since 2003, Adventure Science Center has worked to change that with TWISTER, a one-day STEM conference for high schoolers who identify as girls. In 25 years, TWISTER has welcomed and inspired more than 3,000 attendees. Over 400 women have volunteered as presenters, sharing what they do and showing girls what’s possible. Join us this February as we celebrate a quarter century of inspiring a lifelong love of STEM. "I loved how inspired I was after the keynote speaker and panel, and I felt as if I could be as successful and amazing as these women." - 2026 TWISTER Attendee We champion access to STEM education by creating welcoming spaces and programs where everyone—regardless of race, gender identity, sexuality, or background—can explore, learn, and belong.
